The amazing shades of this mountain are made possible by the mineral content of the sandstone.

Situated in the Namibian Namib-Naukluft National Park, Sossusvlei is a salt and clay pan that is covered with fascinating red dunes and is said to be the largest around the globe. It is translated as “dead-end marsh” and it stretches over 60 kilometers from the Atlantic Ocean’s coast. It is the dunes that prevent the water coming from the Tsauchab River from flowing any further. It is unusual to see the water flow over a long distance, but you can still catch a rare phenomenon. There are several plants and animals that can inhabit it with wild conditions as the water fills the place, and thousands of birds flock to this magnificent paradise.
